At the 2006 May Conference, Cindy Jacobs explained that one of the biggest hinderances to revival in Japan was “the spirit of abortion.” The spirit of abortion causes things of God to be aborted, or to be birthed prematurely. There have been many movements and attempts from churches in Japan to impact the nation, However, many lost momentum and fell short of their expectations. Let us continue to pray over this issue so that Japan will be a life-giving nation, instead of death ruling over the country.

・ The recent news says that the birthrate increased for 6 months straight (Sept 25th). The news says that this happened as the number of abortions went down. We believe this has to do with the prayers of repentance since last year. Praise God!

“Moreover you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your acts of harlotry a small matter, that you have slain My children and offered them up to them by causing them to pass through the fire? (Ez16:20-21)” Spiritual adultry provokes physical adultry, and as a resuts, children are killed (abortion) and are offered up to other gods (“Mizuko-kuyou” - a ritual to appease souls of unborn). Let us repent for the sin of idolatry and break the cycle of “spiritual adultry – physical adultry – child killing.”

・ When Moses was born, Egyptians attempted to kill Jewish babies, but midwives defended their lives. God gave the midwives favor, and the population continued to grow. Let us pray for midwives and nurses. Let us also pray that we may have good connections with ob-gyns.

・ Japan Alive is in the process of creating a website and fliers for young people. Please pray for good ideas and effective channels so that these may touch many lives. Pray also for the resources to accomplish this task.

・ Jesus came to give life (Jn 10:10). Let us also declare life so that life may prevail!!
