When the window over Hokkaido is opened, the wind of the Holy Spirit will be released. The wind will blow throughout Japan and all the way to Okinawa. When we awaken the North wind, the garden that was locked up by the enemy will be opened. Then, harvest and fruition will come (Chuck Pierce, May 2005).

●Nightlife Mecca “Susukino”
1/4 of all the adult-entertainment shops in Japan are located in “Susukino,” Sapporo. This started as a governmental project; the government used public funds to build licensed quarters (for the first time) and hired prostitutes as an incentive to the reclaimants. This was just like other state-run quarters in other prefectures, and it seems to me that this led to sex labors for soldiers and arsenal workers during the WWII. Many suicides and abortions took place in these quarters.
●Forced laborers form the Korean Penninsula
Arsenals and mines in Hokkaido used Korean forced laborers the most during the WWII. Furthermore, Hokkaido ranks 2 nd place for the number of quarters where Korean sex laborers were hired (Okinawa is highest). Indeed, Hokkaido has a long history of exploitation; war prisoners, migrants, and even the Ainu (indigenous people group) were considered as a convenient work force, and often treated like slaves.
●Northernmost place
Isaiah 14:13 talks about Satan this way; “you said in your heart, ”I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the starts of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost (Zaphon; the north) heights of the sacred mountain.”
You can see what is working on the area by its “marks”. In Hokkaido, the North Star, the Big Dipper, and five-pointed stars （★) are often seen in famous landmarks .
●The rod of the wicked is broken!!
But Isaiah 14 also says this: “On the day the LORD gives you relief from suffering and turmoil and cruel bondage, you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has come to an end! How his fury had ended! The LORD has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers (vs 3-5).” The rule of the wicked is ending and Hokkaido is gaining rest! The time has come for Hokkaido to be healed and raise a shout of joy! As many prophecies were spoken, Hokkaido has been given a mission to carry God’s overflowing blessing to other parts of Japan.
--- Prayer Focus ---
・ Let us repent for the sins of abortion, prostitution, suicide, and the exploitation of people that took place in Hokkaido. Let us declare that the rod of the wicked is broken (Is14:3-5)!
・ STD and abortion rates among the teens in Sapporo are apparently far greater than the national average. Pray that youth will come to know God’s true love.
・ There is one big project going on in Hokkaido to create an 88-shrine pilgrimage site, just like one in Shikoku. Statues have been carved in Kyoto, and all of them have already been shipped to Hokkaido. The inauguration ceremony was held on Oct 15 th in Asahikawa and pilgrimages will begin once winter is over (May 7 th, 2007). The enemy is trying to steal good fruit that is about to come forth. Please pray earnestly over this issue.
・ Pray for the prophetic school in Sapporo.
・ Song of Solomon 4 is for Hokkaido. Declare and prophesy that the locked-up garden will be opened, and brings lots of harvest.
