Recently I arrived back in Japan. I admit I have been a bit discouraged by all the articles in foreign newspapers about Prime Minister Abe denying the “comfort women” issue and so on. I expected Japan to feel heavy. But I was shocked at how “light” the spiritual atmosphere seemed. In our church on Sunday morning, there were many new people, and they accepted Jesus without hesitation. As I looked, I began to see more and more signs of revival: 1. People getting saved easily; 2. New Christians wanting to spread the gospel; 3. Physical healings happening easily.

Its time to make declarations. Eph 3:10 says the church is to declare to principalities and powers God’s truth and wisdom. When we declare, anointing and angels are released to fulfill the declaration. This is why our flesh and Satan do not want us to be bold and declare great things. Goliath cursed David, but David declared that he would cut off Goliath’s head and that all the Philistines would know the power of God. When he made the declaration, the power of God and angelic army were released. The stone struck Goliath precisely and the Philistine army fled. Therefore, I urge you to make strong declarations so God can release new anointing and angelic forces for us.
A couple days ago I received an email from Chuck Pierce saying we must make declarations. Below is the copy of a prophetic word for you to declare (with some editing).
- Speak to your land and declare that the glory is coming into the land. Declare that the glory in you will cover the earth. Speak to evil on the land and say, 'Your altars will fall.' Speak to your own land, your own heart and say, 'The glory will possess you.' Where iniquity has held your seed, it will let go of your seed. Seeds you have sown will spring forth. Announce to the seed that it will spring forth. Heaven is coming down and unlocking your seed. Call forth an increase of produce with new crops coming up. The land will give up its seed. Decree that the land will open up and receive new seed. Your seed will come up and prosper.
- Stir up the spirit of Caleb , who said, 'I have waited 40 years to take my hill. I have seen my hill. I have heard the giants taunting me from that hill saying that they are fully entrenched and I will not be able to get them out.' Stir your sprits like Caleb and say, 'God gave me that hill and I will take it.' Stir up your spirit like David and say, 'God has desired Jerusalem and I will take it.'
- Decree, 'Though the powers and principalities have surrounded me, I am strong in the Lord. I am going up my hill.' Speak to your past thought processes that have said, 'Even though I may take this hill, the enemy will take it back tomorrow and I will have to take it again.' Throw that defeatist attitude off and declare, 'The Lord God Almighty can take this hill and hold this hill. We will not give it up.' Decree that when you take your hill, the King will become King of your hill."
- Pray for Spiritual Protection: Recently I have been praying for you. I prayed for each network pastor, prayed for the partners and prayed for the intercessors. Recently, one intercessor had a dream about demonic forces and witches and curses. It happened around the time the mayor of Nagasaki was assassinated. Thus, I felt it was leading from the Holy Spirit to pray protection. Maybe some of you have been feeling attack in form of finances, division and conflict, lack of unity. These are signs of demonic attack. I urge you to be sure to daily wear the full armor of God. If you are a pastor or leader, make sure your intercessors are doing special prayer for you.
