Greetings to all you intercessors and supporters!

Teddy and I have just finished a very interesting summer. I would say the theme for me has been about rest. “There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His (God’s) rest, has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His” (Hebrews 4:9-10).

The Lord taught me about this in 3 major ways. First, near the end of July, I got a speeding ticket. The Holy Spirit had clearly warned me to slow down, but I decided I couldn’t afford to go slow. Well the radar got me. The Lord used that to show me how easy it is for me to make my own decisions/schedule etc. and NOT trust Him.

Next, I began to meditate more on Sabbath. As you know Sundays are busy times for ministers. I began taking one day each week to meditate, memorize scripture and just rest. I sensed myself getting refreshed.

Third, the Lord led me to cancel my proposed trip to Burma and Sri Lanka. I really hated to cancel, but it was just not coming together. Even intercessors here in Japan felt uneasy about it. When I cancelled, great peace came to me.

Teddy and I used that extra time just for vacation and it was very relaxing and refreshing. I see that the Lord wanted to bring us to a new level of faith for the new kinds of doors He has waiting for us. Choosing to rest in the Lord slowly but surely causes us unbelief to die away and causes faith to grow. Choosing to rest is choosing for faith. By resting we are declaring, Lord, I trust you to do what I can’t. I trust that you will do more during this rest time than I could ever hope to accomplish.

JAPAN REPORT – While meditating on what to do for Japan, the Lord put on my heart to call for 40 days of praying during 4 watches. I feel we will make great shifts ahead as we pray this way. I encourage you to join us for the 40 days. You can hear the complete message by podcast.

I strongly urge all intercessors to join us in this. I know it will open up doors for Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, as well as Indonesia.

REVELATION for the NEW YEAR:
Truly we are in an exciting time in Japan. God is doing much here, just as He is around the world. We need to make the following declarations:

• The wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous. Declare that God is releasing great finances to the church for more and more evangelism. Many times breakthrough is often preceded by a real “pinch”. So, even if your finances seem difficult, declare BREAKTHROUGH and Massive Transfer of Wealth
• New Windows are opening – Chuck Pierce wrote that Aug 12- Sept 5 was time for God’s Breakthrough Window to appear. Exactly on Sept 5, the Lord showed me TWO very important windows. (I will write about them at a later date.)
• New Revelation – God wants us to have fresh revelation, so we can keep moving ahead. Where there is no vision, the people perish (Prov 29:18)

YOGEN TAIKAI:

We are planning prophetic ministry days Sept 17 (sano) and 18 (Ikeda Church of Praise) This will be right around the Hebrew New Year (Sept 22-24). God wants to speak to you.

9/17 Sano

• 10:30-1 pm – I will give the morning message and then along with teams will give prophetic ministry to the whole congregation.
• 2-5 pm – open – no meeting, but prophetic ministry to all who come. If you can’t come, send your name, and we will prophesy and send you the cassette tape.

9/18 Ikeda Church of Praise

• 10 -12:30 – teaching on the purpose of prophecy and prophetic ministry
• 1:30- 3:00 – prophetic ministry

In each case, I will personally minister as much as possible to all who come, and of course, teams will help. (Priority will be apostolic offering partners, prophetic partners, and network pastors and ministers.)

PLEASE feel free to bring NON-CHRISTIAN friends for prophetic ministry. God loves to speak to non-believers. Lets believe for great results.

JAPAN ALIVE:

This is the name of the NPO headed by Teddy Sawka. Its purpose is to confront the spirit of death that rules over Japan by dealing with the social problems of abortion and lack of foundation for standards of sexual conduct. The purpose is not to be anti-abortion as much as it is to show people there is a better way than abortion. Also, we want to see high profile musicians and TV personalities join us by saying there is a better way than sexual promiscuity, and multiple partners. This NPO was launched Aug 3-4 in Sano, and again in Kobe, Aug 22-23. Interestingly, but soon after the newspapers reported that birth rate had stopped falling. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's update that was issued on August 21, the number of births increased for the first time in 6 years. They think the main reasons are a decrease of abortion and an increase of employment (Aug 22nd, Yomiuri newspaper).

DECLARE THAT THIS WILL BECOME A MIGHTY SOCIAL MOVEMENT. Declare the favor of God is on it. Declare that large sums of money will come to help us advance.
