2010 APOSTLIC support fund

ron sawkaRon and Teddy Sawka are founders and leaders of Arise International. They have established and continue ministries in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Russia. They also minister in Taiwan, Guam, Singapore, and Burma. Their base is Japan, where they have ministered since 1975.

"Arise" is the name of a new apostolic network that they are preparing to launch. It aims to be a prototype apostolic network, not only for churches and leaders, but also for marketplace ministers, business people and house churches with a specific aim of modelling apostolic centers for breakthrough for a region.

The Apostolic Support Fund is a strategy the Lord impressed upon me a few years ago. Each year, I ask the Lord for 300 people to commit to $1000-support for the year. While many choose to renew, each pledge is just for that year and carries no further obligation. In the nations God has opened up for us, I use these funds in three ways:

  1. To help set up ongoing ministry and bases for Apostolic Prophetic in emerging countries. Russia is a good example. We have been able to set up CI Russia, and are making teaching and training materials available. Perhaps you know that there was a great revival (after the collapse of communism). However, now those churches and leaders are desperately seeking for spiritual help. They know they need apostolic and prophetic anointing so the church can become powerful again, and are hungry for our teaching.
  2. To enlarge the scope of ministry – God is giving us innovative ways to reach nations, but I want to see the scope enlarged. In Japan, for example, we must launch into daily or weekly radio broadcasts so the supernatural can be demonstrated regularly to non-believers and those beyond the immediate reach of our local ministries.
  3. To support Apostolic-Prophetic teams going to the poorer nations. Myanmar is a good example. Leaders are hungry for the AP, but know so little about it. This fund helps send in teams to release the necessary ministry, anointing, and training.

MORE THAN JUST FINANCIAL SUPPORT – I truly do feel that your commitment really does connect you to us. I feel it is an apostolic connection that blesses us, blesses the nations, as well as opens doors for you and your own destiny. In return for your pledge, I feel my responsibility to you is:

  • To pray for you (I try to have all of your pictures on hand to assist me in praying) regularly and specifically.
  • To be available to you for support and insight – you can contact me by phone or email for special prayer or ministry as you feel need.

This is now the 4th year of this Apostolic Fund. We have donors from the United States, Canada, the UK, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan.
