The Prophecy Marathon (Sept 17-18) was a very important event, I think, not just for the two places we did it, but it had an impact on the spiritual atmosphere over Japan. What we did was prophesy to every member at the Sano Church service (over 100) and then on Sunday afternoon, just prophesied on tape for about 150 from outside of Sano who requested it, as well as 30 or so who drove to Sano that afternoon. We did this again in Ikeda on Monday, except we didn’t have requests from outside for prophecy just by tape.

My reason for doing this was as follows: 1. Christians should be able to get revelation regularly; 2. It was the beginning of the new Hebrew year when Christians should individually get revelation of the new things God wants to begin in their lives; 3. I sensed (and had total agreement and excitement from our staff on this) that this "massive prophesying" would somehow affect the spiritual atmosphere. In a very real sense, prophesying is the breath of God or wind of God (see Ezek. 37), so through prophesying in such concentrated fashion, we released the "breath of God" over Japan.

In Sano church that Sunday morning, during the praise time, I felt something very different. I felt the atmosphere shifting. Later that day I heard the prophesy from Mark Gulland that God was changing the atmosphere over Japan. Later still, I read the testimony from Minako Wunderli where she told us how the atmosphere in Okinawa has changed and it is so easy to witness about Jesus.

I recommend 4 things:

1. Each church should regularly, once a month, have a celebration time (Sunday service is a good time) and be sure to prophesy to each one that comes. In other words, devote the meeting to celebration. Speak about the reasons why we need prophesy (You can refer to my teaching 22 reasons why we need prophesy) and then minister to each person.

2. Continue the 40 days of 4 times a day prayer - I know this is having great impact. Hey, Revival is here.

3. Keep watching for the changes the Lord is bringing. Be sure to use the chances for evangelism. Harvest time is NOW.

4. Pray for all prophetic outreach: A. Prophet School in Sapporo; B. Plans for a Prophetic School in Towada; C. Prophetic training starting soon in Ikeda; D. Yoshida Tsutomu’s ministry in Niigata, Ishikawa, Shizuoka, etc. He is spreading the prophetic wind.
