What is podcasting?

Podcasting is a method of distributing files over the internet that allows users to subscribe to and receive updated content on their computer. This means a new message can be automatically downloaded when one is available.

How do I get started?

1. Download and install a current version of iTunes, if you don't already have it installed on your computer. This software is free, and can be downloaded from Apple's web page.

2. Subscribe to the podcast. You can access the ciasia podcast by clicking here. This will launch a web program that opens iTunes and will take you directly to the ciasia podcast. Once there, click "Subscribe".

Alternately, you can find the podcast in the iTunes Music Store directly from iTunes. From iTunes, click on "Music Store" and search for "ciasia".

3. Once you've subscribed to the podcast, the most recent podcast will automatically download to your computer. To download another podcast, select the desired podcast and click .

4. Be sure to periodically check for new content. In iTunes, click "Podcasts". Click the "Update" button to see if any new content is available

To download an mp3 to your computer, right click on the link and select the option "Save link as". The podcast links are subscription files. I've you've already subscribed to the podcast you don't need to click anything.
